Our ministries help people grow in faith, serve God, and impact lives through fellowship, worship, and outreach.
Ministries
Ministry Leadership
Ministries will be led by mature believers who will demonstrate spiritual depth and a sincere desire to serve. These leaders will undergo a prayerful vetting process by the pastoral team and will be formally appointed to leadership roles. This process will ensure fidelity to the church’s mission, foster accountability, and promote a culture of integrity and servant-hearted leadership.
Ministry Organization
At the heart of this framework will be the three foundational ministries.
At the heart of this framework will be the three foundational ministries. Worship will foster spiritual depth through prayer, discipleship, and vibrant services that draw the congregation into deeper communion with God. Fellowship will build a strong sense of community through small groups, compassion ministries, and pastoral care, nurturing relationships that reflect the love of Christ. Missions will extend the church’s reach both locally and globally, with Marsabit serving as a local key mission field where the church will engage in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.
To deliver the strategic plan and the ministries, the church will operate through three integrated components: people, programs, and processes.
The people component will include all individuals involved in leadership and ministry execution.
- Pastorate – Provides overall leadership and is responsible for implementing the Strategic Plan.
- Elders – Offer spiritual oversight, governance, decision-making, policy implementation, and stewardship of church resources.
- Deacons – Support practical ministries, including social welfare, ushering, events, intercessory prayer, and Holy Communion.
- Volunteers – Contribute their time, skills, and talents to support various church ministries.
- Office Administrator – Oversees administrative, financial, logistical, and support staff functions while coordinating with relevant committees.
- Development Committee – Plans and implements development projects, manages fundraising, and oversees improvements to church infrastructure.
- Estate Management Committee – Maintains church property, buildings, and assets, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and suitable for ministry activities.
The programs component encompasses the church’s ministry plans and activities, designed to nurture spiritual growth and community engagement. These include Children Ministry, Youth Ministry, Bible Study, Discipleship, and Baptism Classes, as well as Men’s, Women’s, and Couples’ Fellowships. The church will also invest in music ministries, including choirs and orchestras, and will extend its care through cell groups, hospitality, social welfare programs, and youth formations such as Cadets and Battalion. Each of these programs will be intentionally aligned with one of the three ministry pillars to ensure clarity of purpose and spiritual impact.
The processes component will provide the systems and policies necessary to ensure accountability, transparency, and operational effectiveness.
- Leadership Processes – Leadership roles will be filled through a prayerful and transparent vetting process, ensuring leaders are spiritually mature and aligned with the church’s mission.
- Governance & Communication – Decision-making and communication will follow structured processes that promote accountability, transparency, and effective operations.
- Financial Stewardship – A centralized financial system will ensure responsible resource management, with members encouraged to give faithfully to support church ministries and mission outreach.
- Reporting & Accountability – Ministry and financial reports will be shared during State of the Church meetings to maintain transparency.
- Outcome – These processes will strengthen governance, promote unity, and enable AICNR to fulfil its mission effectively.
