Goal #3. The Outreach Ministry of AIC Ngong’ Road exists to fulfil the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations and demonstrating Christ’s love through acts of mercy, as guided by Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 4:12, James 2:15-16, and 1 Corinthians 16:1-2. Rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit, this ministry seeks to cultivate spiritually mature believers who are sound in doctrine, equipped for evangelism, and actively engaged in discipleship and church planting.
Outreach Ministry
To achieve this vision, the ministry adopts a fourfold approach:
First is, equipping Believers for Discipleship (Ephesians 4:12) – Through structured training programs, believers are prepared to engage in evangelism, missions, and church planting. Regular recruitment, mentorship, and commissioning ensure a steady pipeline of well-prepared disciples ready for the mission field. Success is measured by the number of trained mission workers, their retention, and the impact of their outreach efforts.
Second is, sharing the Gospel with the Unreached (Matthew 28:19-20) – Strategic evangelism initiatives, including prayer mapping, giving, physical and virtual outreach, and follow-up discipleship, enable the church to engage the lost effectively. The ministry aims to plant five new churches in five years, reaching over 1,000 people through targeted missions. Effectiveness is assessed through the number of conversions, church growth, and the transformation of communities.
Third is, demonstrating Christ’s Love through Acts of Mercy (James 2:15-16) – Outreach extends beyond evangelism to tangible expressions of compassion. Food distribution, financial assistance, medical camps, and community engagement programs ensure that physical and spiritual needs are met. The impact is evaluated by the number of beneficiaries, the responsiveness of aid distribution, and the alignment of resources with identified needs.
Lastly is, mobilizing Resources for Missions (1 Corinthians 16:1-2) – Sustainable outreach requires financial and material support. The ministry actively mobilizes resources through designated church giving, partnerships with professional groups and organizations, and strategic fundraising efforts. The goal is to secure adequate resources to sustain mission work while fostering long-term partnerships. Progress is tracked through financial growth, resource allocation efficiency, and expanding donor networks.
