Strategic Goal #2: Believers at AIC Ngong’ road build strong relationships with God and one another, promoting unity in the body of Christ through fellowship, support, and inclusivity. The fellowship ministries and programs will endeavour to cultivate a spiritually mature, united, and caring Christian community where believers grow in God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, and support one another through fellowship, discipleship, and service. (Hebrews 10:24, Acts 17:11).
Fellowship Ministry
The Fellowship Ministry at AIC Ngong’ Road is designed to nurture spiritual growth, foster a deep sense of belonging, and build a strong, united Christian community. Through intentional programs and activities, this ministry seeks to equip believers with biblical knowledge, encourage meaningful relationships, and provide holistic support for individuals and families.
At the heart of this ministry is a commitment to discipleship through Bible study and prayer. Structured study materials will be provided for various groups, ensuring that both physical and virtual gatherings are grounded in sound doctrine. Weekly Bible study sessions and devotional prayers will cultivate a congregation that is not only spiritually mature but also deeply rooted in prayer. The impact of these efforts will be measured by participation rates and resource distribution.
Beyond spiritual growth,
the ministry prioritizes welfare and support to strengthen relationships among believers. Home visitations, meal-sharing, and community-building events such as hikes, family fun days, and cultural celebrations will foster unity and inclusivity. Additionally, financial wellness training and medical camps will ensure that members are supported in both their physical and financial well-being. These initiatives will create a compassionate and responsive congregation that actively meets the needs of its members.
Recognizing the need for strong leadership, the ministry will invest in training and mentorship programs. Leaders will be identified and equipped biannually, with partnerships established to provide professional and biblical leadership development. By creating networks with relevant organizations, the ministry will strengthen the church’s ability to serve effectively. The success of this initiative will be evaluated based on the number of trained leaders and the quality of their impact.
To successfully implement these programs,
the ministry will require strategic investments in resources, partnerships, and internal capacity building. The annual budget will be determined based on planned activities, ensuring that the ministry remains sustainable and impactful in the years to come.
